Holiday Inn Xiaoshan offers attractive rates when compared to other hotels run by international chains. The hotel is a located at downtown Xiaoshan and has easy access to major bus routes. Shopping is available nearby within walking distance. There are also plenty of good restaurants near the hotel, including many smaller ones at very reasonable costs. There is a big grocery store right next to the hotel where visitors can obtain a large variety of fruits and drinks.

I find some of the hotel staff a little bit rude at times. I have trouble finding smiles on their faces. It is the only hotel that I have been to which does not offer any free map of the city!

ding ge heiyu guan, where you can eat, is within walking distance of the hotel. private parking onsite was provided. the free wifi was a cherry on top.

Clean rooms. Wi-Fi in each room (sometimes signal didn't have god strenght). Really wide choice places to eat (chineese and western food)

A lot of people (guests) were noisy, and were smoking in the lobby / waiting areas. Smoking should be forbidden in public areas.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, especially when it came to answering our transportation questions. The location is great, right in the heart of the city, near the metro station and in a bustling business district. The room was spacious and had a beautiful view. We loved having access to the swimming pool, which was rarely busy, allowing us to enjoy it all to ourselves. Additionally, there is a shopping mall right next to the hotel, making it convenient to find everything we needed.

We highly recommend this hotel to families.

The hotel room was spacious and we appreciated the pillow selection provided. the buffet dinner was exceptional value for money and had lots of dishes to choose from. the hotel was located close to a shopping plaza and a modern supermarket, making it convenient for us to buy essentials.

We also experienced less-than-ideal customer service from some of the staff, including the concierge desk and breakfast waiters.

The pool was the best part of the hotel. It was comfortable and not too hot. The buffet dinner was worth the money, with unlimited drinks and cooked-to-order dishes. The location was also good, as it was close to some major attractions.

The rooms were not up to par, as they lacked basic amenities and the windows did not shut properly, causing a lot of noise. The staff were not very helpful, and they overcharged for taxis.
